That's right, the original 1985 film that spawned Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale's media franchise as well as helped establish an entire branch of science fiction cinema. The trilogy as a whole is a highly regarded piece of our collective childhoods, but the first movie in particular stands out for its phenomenal script, excellent performances, and unforgettable soundtrack. Preserved in the National Film Registry and widely considered one of the best films ever made, Back to the Future is a flick we're genuinely surprised we've taken eight seasons to talk about!
